LRMD LYAC – Lithuanian VHF Activity Days Rules

 

DATE

  • 144 MHz, first Tuesday of each month
  • 432 MHz, second Tuesday of each month
  • 1.3 GHz, third Tuesday of each month
  • 2.4 GHz and up, fourth Tuesday of each month

TIME

18:00–21:59 UTC from November to March,
17:00–20:59 UTC from April to October.

CONTACTS

Operation according to IARU Region 1 band plan. Contacts with radio amateurs from all countries are valid. Contacts via active repeaters and EME are not valid.

MODES

CW, SSB, FM

REPORTS

RS(T) and 6-character WWL, e.g. 599 KO15NV.

SCORING

144 MHz, 432 MHz and 1.3 GHz:
1 km = 1 point + 500 bonus points for each new 4-character locator square (e.g.: KO14, KO25, JO14, …)

2.4 GHz and up:
1 km = 1 point * band multiplier + 500 bonus points for each new locator square, regardless of band.
Band multipliers:

  • 2.4 GHz * 2
  • 5.7 GHz * 4
  • 10 GHz * 5
  • 24 GHz * 6

A 0 km contact with your own WW LOC (KO14WW – KO14WW) gives 1 point.

LOGS

Only electronic logs in Reg1Test (EDI) format are accepted. Logs must be sent within two weeks after the contest to .

The log must include: date and time UTC of each QSO, received callsign, sent RS(T) and received RS(T) with locator. The log header must include your callsign, name, surname, email and WW LOC from which you operated.

Name the log file "callsign-band-month.edi", e.g.: LY0XX-144-01.edi. Attach the log file, never paste it into the email body. In the email subject line, write your callsign and band. Messages without a subject may accidentally end up in the trash.
